Karyotype modal number = 90 range = 81 to 96. This is a hypotetraploid human cell line with the modal chromosome number of 90, occurring in 50% of cells.


SK-MEL-28 is a hypotetraploid cell line with a chromosome number of 90 occurring in 50% of cells and an estimated doubling time of 35 hours.
